Team Excalibur Strength Training
Dry land training and off rink conditioning programs have been around hockey since the game began... competitive teams that train and practice have an advantage over their opponent. Team Excalibur has been using on rink and off rink training for the past 9 years. The Castle Sports Club... Home of Team Excalibur has the only facilities in Arizona to train outdoors on turf, indoors on a full size rink, indoors on a small rink, over 10,000 lbs of weights in our fitness center and an aerobics floor for indoor plyometrics. Many have tried to copy what we do but none have come close to our success.
-
Team Excalibur dry land training is designed for serious athletes. Our program is designed for athletes to progress from one season to the next. Athletes are measured against a base starting point for their ability and how they improve from that point during the program. All travel A hockey teams participate in our speed, agility and quickness training.
-
The Team Excalibur program has four components:
1. Conditioning and Endurance
2. Flexibility
3. Speed, Agility, Balance and Coordination
4. Strength
We use both our outdoor synthetic turf field and our fitness center to train athletes.
-
The dry land training program components are designed to provide maximum performance by creating an off season strength program, preseason conditioning program and in season training and practice program. Warning...this program is for serious travel hockey athletes and requires supervision of a knowledgeable trainer.
